To secure the vehicle for preferred date and time, a non-refundable deposit of $250 will be incurred on all general hire bookings. While a non-refundable $450 deposit will be incurred on Weddings, Wine Tours and any general hire booking of 3 hours or more, or at Canberra Hummer’s discretion.
The driver is responsible for the safety of the vehicle. Any passenger whose conduct is in breach of statutory regulations may be removed from the vehicle or prevented from boarding on the driver's authority. This behaviour includes sitting on the exterior of the vehicle, hanging out the windows, shouting abuse, rudeness or intolerance with the chauffer, arguing with the chauffer, misuse of equipment and general damage to the interior.
Opening of the emergency hatch is forbidden. This is for emergencies only. Such behaviour may, at the discretion of the chauffeur or company, result in the immediate termination of the hire without compensation.
The person in charge of the hire will be responsible for the conduct of passengers and for any damage caused to the vehicle by passengers during the hire.
The chauffeur/company reserves the right to charge the person who has hired the vehicle for any damage caused during the course of any charter.
Canberra Hummer can and will recover any money for loss of property that is provided in the hummer. This includes iPad, media devices, cushions, and any bar equipment.
It is against the law to smoke in Public Transport Vehicles therefore NO SMOKING in any vehicles.
All bookings are subject to the vehicle being able to have access to the itinerary provided to us. In the case where the vehicle is unable to access roads or a particular location/venue required, the driver will pull up as close as possible at his/her discretion, bearing in mind the clients’ safety, the drivers’ safety, and the safety of the vehicle.
· Canberra Hummer will endeavour to ensure you arrive at your destination safely, comfortable and on time. However, the company cannot be held liable for any event which is beyond our control, including traffic delays, weather, illness or vehicle breakdown. In such circumstances, you must allow Canberra Hummer to do all things possible to resolve the issue and complete the hire. (e.g. if a vehicle breaks down, provide a replacement. Subject to availability) Canberra Hummer reserves the right to employ sub-contract vehicles and drivers to complete the hire. Should we be unable to provide an alternative vehicle, a pro-rata refund will be made. The company will not be held liable for any expenses beyond the hire arising from events beyond our control.
The chauffeur and/or company shall not be held liable or responsible for any articles left in the vehicle and the hirer specifically indemnifies the chauffeur/company from any such responsibility and undertakes to advise all other persons in his or her party.The hirer holds the chauffeur and/or company harmless of any liability for any personal or material damages arising from the conduct of his or her party.
The consumption of food is not permitted in any vehicles unless agreement has been made to the contrary at the time of the booking as we do provide cheese platters, etc in some packages.
Where complimentary drinks are supplied by Canberra Hummer, these must be consumed in the vehicle and may not be removed for any reason whatsoever.
Alcohol may not be consumed by passengers under the age of 18 years. It is against the law, and Canberra Hummer will not allow any underage drinking. Failure to comply may result in the termination of hire without compensation.
The company does not permit the consumption of illicit drugs whilst in the vehicle. Failure to comply may result in the termination of hire without compensation.
Canberra hummer will take no responsibility for misconduct that may lead to prosecution.
Seat belts must be worn at all times.
Canberra Hummer reserves the right to use any video or photographs captured by the company for display and/or promotional purposes. All footage and photographs remain the exclusive property of Canberra Hummer
Personal information collected by Canberra Hummer is treated with strict confidence and will not be disclosed in full or part to anyone, other than Canberra Hummer or its authorised affiliates undertaking the hire.
You agree to keep confidential any and all information provided to you by Canberra Hummer as it is considered to be industry sensitive. this Includes all information regarding services provided and prices quoted.
A valid credit card must be provided at time of submitting your booking for security against breakages, misconduct, sanitisation of vehicle or over time payments. Credit card details are stored securely and will be destroyed 7 days after the date of hire. Unless there is additional charges outstanding resulting from misconduct etc. No credit card details No Booking
· Payment by credit/debit card in person or over the phone will attract the following surcharge - Mastercard & Visa - 0%, American Express - 2.5%.
· All Payments made online by credit/debit card online will attract the following surcharge - All Cards 1.75% + 30c.
